Excursion from Damas Educational Center to Al-Azhar Park and the Citadel of Salah Al-Din Al-Ayyubi

As part of Damas' endeavor to enhance educational experiences outside the classroom, Damas Educational Center organized a cultural trip to Al-Azhar Park and the Citadel of Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi. A group of children and adults participated in the trip who enjoyed a knowledge tour full of discoveries.

The trip began with a visit to Al-Azhar Park, where participants enjoyed the beauty of nature and the stunning views that the park provides, with the opportunity to learn about the history of the park and its environmental and cultural importance. After that, everyone headed to the Citadel of Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi, where they enjoyed an educational tour inside the citadel, which is one of Cairo's most prominent historical landmarks, and learned important historical details about the construction of the castle and its historical events in Islamic times.

This trip comes as part of Damas Educational Center's efforts to introduce participants to the history and culture of their country, and to provide non-traditional educational experiences that develop their understanding of historical places in Egypt.

This event contributes to enhancing the cultural knowledge of participants of all ages, in addition to creating educational memories that contribute to the development of their civilizational awareness
